Davidson Plums are a native Australian fruit endemic to the Northern Rivers Region of New South Wales. They have a super tart, mouth-puckeringly acidic plum flavour. When balanced out with the sweetness of a jam or sorbet they make for magnificently complex sweets and condiments. Davidson plum jam is by far our favourite with scones and cream but is also just fantastic on toast.
