Large Build-Your-Own Gift Hamper

Created as a way for customers to have something packaged nicely for gifting, the really fun part of these mason jars has been that we get to make these little curated collections with themes or by focusing on complementary styles and flavours.  We call this one the "Fruit Salad" and it is a nod to our favourite fruity, summertime treats.   

It's long been a trick in the mixologists tool bag to balance sourness using the refreshing nature of mint.  Its a dangerous game though given the potent nature of mint runs the risk of drowning your other flavours and turning your creations into something resembling a mouth wash.  Enter Australian Native River Mint with its peppery spearmint flavour is familiar but more delicate to the exotic mints we are used to.  At any rate, its not likely to overpower the sour flavour powerhouse that is Davidson Plum.  The sour, citrusy, herby and sweet elements in this shrub make it an outstanding mixer for apéritifs but also a wonderfully refreshing non-alcoholic cordial.

This one is very special.  Once a year we receive a special delivery of fresh Black Truffles from Barrington Tops.  Truffles are a highly sought after culinary delicacy that can infuse dishes with an umami-rich depth unmatched by other ingredients.  They are a rare luxury, an indulgence. Chilli crisp is about complexity and boldness and infusing such a condiment with the delicate earthy, musky flavours of black truffle with its notes of garlic, mushroom and chocolate requires precision, finesse and a delicate touch.  We are enormously proud of this product and of of the respect we feel that it shows to this coveted ingredient. 

Riberries have a distinctive complex flavour.  They have a natural tartness similar to cranberries but with unique aromatic undertones of cloves and cinnamon.  We often describe the flavour as being similar to spiced apples or spiced pears.  In producing this jam we have leant into that depth and warm spiced elements by infusing native spices such as Lemon Myrtle, Anise Myrtle and Redback Ginger using innovative techniques to create something truly unique and intriguing.

Hand crafted specialty-grade instant coffee.  Kenyan coffee is known for its acidity and bright, fruity flavour profiles with a full body and a clean, lingering aftertaste.  

Our Kenyan single origin from Sprocket Roasters really is something special.  It's probably our favourite single origin blend for black coffee while its acidity also cuts through nicely in a milky cup.  This roast has tasting notes of pineapples, hazelnuts, soft apricot and custard apple aromas.
